Went to say goodbye to Great Grandma

May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be ever at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rain fall softly on your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of his hand.

I was text'd today that my Great Grandma would probably be with our family for a very short time so I went to see her today at the hospital.. very unreal and hard to know your probably going to see someone for the last time...

God is the light that shows me the way, for there is nothing that God cannot do

Before I gave my life to Jesus Christ I was subject to an existence of uncertainty and hopelessness. At least, that is what I had thought at the time. You see, I didn’t know where I was headed, nor did I really care where I was going. All I knew was that I existed; and it didn’t matter to me if I didn’t exist, because life to me at the time was pointless.

Now I wake up with purpose and I'm ready to move forward on a daily basis and make goals for the future and smile more often. I've had a lot to overcome, however with prayer and a different out look on life I've overcome it, (it) no longer defines me.

Only God is love, sometimes I think he breaks our heart only to fill it with his perfect love. only Jesus is faithful, his love never fails. Trust only God provides all our hearts desires.

The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace from that day. We cannot change our past, we cannot change the fact that people will act in certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing that we can do is play on the one string that we have and this string is, Attitude. I am convinced that life is ten percent what happens to me and ninety percent how I react to it. And so it is with you....We are in charge of our Attitudes.

Over the years I have developed a picture of what a human being living humanely is like. She is a person who understands: values and develops her body, finding it beautiful and useful; a person who is real and is willing to take risks, to be creative, to manifest competence, to change when the situation calls for it, and to find ways to accommodate to what is new and different, keeping that part of the old that is still useful and discarding what is not, having prayer in her every day life. >M
